Group purchasing
A group purchasing organization (GPO) is an entity that helps organizations in various markets realize savings and efficiencies by aggregating purchasing volume and using that leverage to negotiate discounts with manufacturers, distributors and other vendors. The Veterinary Club is a national GPO focused exclusively on the veterinary market.
National, Regional and Custom contracting
The Veterinary Club helps organizations with contracting and sourcing on strategic categories that may or may not be covered under an existing contractual agreement.
For those product and service categories that lend themselves to a national contract, The Veterinary Club will negotiate a single contract for all our members. Most of our current contracts are national and available to all our members.
Additionally, there are some suppliers and categories that are more appropriate to contract with on a regional basis. For example, many distributors only operate on a regional basis and offer The Veterinary Club members with exceptional service and value. In those situations The Veterinary Club will explore contracting with those suppliers to help meet the needs of our members in that region.
Lastly, as a value-added service, we can help members with strategic sourcing on high volume or high priced items not covered by a national or regional contract. |
